Marlon products are a special range of fluorocarbon compounds ( fluoropolymers ) whose specially-developed fillers give a much more efficient performance than any traditional P.T.F.E (polyterafluoroethylene) filled materials as regards wear and friction characteristics.

There are TEN good reasons for using Marlon products and they represent the most frequent motives for using them as anti-friction material:

• Wherever low cost, high performance dry bearings are desired for continuous service up to 10,000 PV or intermittent service up to 50,000 PV
• Where bearing lubrication is undesirable or impossible
• With extreme working temperatures (-240oC up to +280oC ) where lubricating oils are useless
• In corrosive environments
• In non-lubricating liquids
• In environments with high / low humidities
• Where space and weight must be saved
• Wherever other bearings (metal or plastic) are causing problems
• Where fretting corrosion must be avoided
• Where the stick-slip phenomenon is a problem
• (as in stop start conditions)

ALL MARLON PRODUCTS CAN BE SUPPLIED AS SEMI-FINISHED MATERIALS

(e.g. Extruded or moulded rods,tubes,sheets,tapes etc), STANDARD FINISHED PARTS or FINISHED PARTS ACCORDING TO CUSTOMER DRAWINGS.
